AIM-WEST calls on Santa Clara city Hall for support

AIM-WEST attended Santa Clara City Council Tuesday November 4th requesting The Bay Area Coalition Against Racism in Sports (BACARS) be on its next agenda, November 18, 2014. Because the NFL Washington team has a slur mascot name and logo and because Santa Clara is playing the 49ers on Sunday November 23rd, and because the city is hosting the game, the BACARS calls on the City Council to support our efforts for a name change and to support our endeavors to that end.
