In this week’s radio program “Across Indian Land” (8:30-9:30 pm) on "La Onda Bajita" Chicano Low-Rider radio show (8-10 pm) we begin with a tape recording I did Sunday February 12 in Crissy Field, San Francisco at the Longest Walk 5 kick-off (with lots of humor/spirituality/and well-being).

We will also be listening to AIM Elder Madonna Thunder Hawk explaining what is happening right now in Standing Rock, North Dakota in the campaign against the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL). I also interview Ms. Maria Victoria Castro, Executive Director, at La Raza Centro Legal, Inc. in San Francisco, speaks to us about the ICE raids in our communities and what rights immigrants do have. We will listen to a tape recording of Ms Jackie Fielder talking to us about a draft proposal aimed at San Francisco Supervisors to divest from fossil fuel oil industries during a rally on February 8th.

Ms. Elizabeth Milos calls into the studio with a follow-up to the taped interview and on divestment from banks….And finally an interview with rap performer OLMECA himself in anticipation of his presence on Saturday 2/18/17 at the Anglim Gallery 1275 Minnesota St. (btw 23rd and 24th St.) along with other artists; Rigo 23, Alejandro Murguia, y mucho mas! AIM high!
