In the second half of BNC, two young brothers, Lakota men, Thorne and Wakinyan LaPointe returned last week as AIM-WEST delegates in their fourth year at the annual UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UN PFII) 16th session. They discuss their global work/participation gained over the recent years at the UN PFII bringing to the UN floor a directive to initiate a study on racism in sports and the use of Indigenous peoples as MASCOTS in public sports.
