Also I interviewed Chairman Valentin Lopez and Tribal member Catherine Luna Rodriguez, of the Amah Mutsun Tribal/Nation, speaking about their peoples survived through the Mission Days experience and why UC Santa Cruz decided to take down its historic Mission Bell. Chairman Lopez also comments on the apology declared recently by Governor Gavin Newsom on behalf of the State of California.
