At 8:30-9 pm on “Across Indian Land” on KPFA’s program “La Onda Bajita” (8-10 pm) I’ll be speaking with Virginia Hedrick, Executive Director at California Consortium for Urban Indian Health, about Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and preparedness on the potential impact Coronavirus will have to American Indian communities; also, with Dr. Jose Cuellar (AKA Dr. Loco!) in the studio we both will speak with Samantha Avila Gomez, a 10th grade student from South San Francisco High School about how they removed a 90 years plus school mascot (Warrior image) from their high school!
