56th Annual California Native American Day is almost here! The theme of this year's event is, "Protecting Our People Through Sovereignty: Past, Present, and Future." The basket designs are representative of Tribes from across California and the image at the center honors those impacted by the MMIP crisis.

The 56th Annual California Native American Day West Steps of the State Capitol Building in Sacramento, CA on Friday, September 23, 2023 from 10 am to 2 pm. The event is free and open to the public.
